ISUOG's first of three educational courses organised this year took place from 18-19 February 2011 at the RCOG London. We welcomed nearly 300 delegates from over 40 countries!
Some positive comments from our attendees:
"The speakers were excellent and the pre and post tests were a good idea"
"An excellent course. Please keep up the good work!"
As has become a regular practice for ISUOG events, every session was recorded and in the next few days will be available on our website for viewing by members and course delegates.

The program was a ‘return to basics’ approach, focusing on anomalies and fetal cardiac scanning from the main principles, and building on this knowledge to work through identification of the most common problems, how to distinguish them and moving through to discuss pathology and further treatment options.

Our international faculty, Gianluigi Pilu, Boris Tutschek, Rabih Chaoui and Dario Paladini were joined by UK speakers Christoph Lees and Lindsey Allan to give a comprehensive and in-depth coverage of all topics.

A new aspect to the course was the use of an interactive voting system, which allowed delegates to engage with speakers, provide instant feedback and also participate in live Q&A for case studies and pre and post testing as part of each session. This proved to be a very popular and useful tool for both delegates and speakers, allowing for real time assessment of learning, as well as capturing the voting results for post course analysis.

Happy exhibitors!
ISUOG would also like to thank GE Healthcare, Keymed and Siemens who exhibited at the Course.
