ISUOG Review: Doppler in Obstetrics & Ultrasound and Labour

"Overall good courses - well documented - with relevance to daily practice."

"Very good, well organised course. Very informative. I am glad I attended!"

In December ISUOG presented yet another successful course. The two-day sold-out event saw delegates from 45 different countries gather at the RCOG in London to hear from an international panel of expert speakers. Click here to view the full program from the course

Kypros Nicolaides, Kurt Hecher and Christoph Brezinka draw conclusions on the first day

Chaired by Christoph Brezinka and Kurt Hecher, the first day focused on Doppler in Obstetric Management. Speakers including Kypros Nicolaides and Helena Gardiner covered subjects ranging from Prediction of pre-eclampsia to Diagnosis and management of cardiac defects. Lively question and answer discussions sessions followed the talks which continued into the evening.

Day Two welcomed a new panel of speakers including Christoph Lees, Tullio Ghi and Zarko Alfirevic. The focus of the day was Ultrasound in Labour and was split into three parts: Preterm delivery, Ultrasound in labour and delivery, and Management of post term pregnancy.

Saturday night gave delegates the chance to relax and meet old friends over an informal Christmas dinner with live comedy and music. Everyone looked very festive in their Santa hats!

We were pleased to receive plenty of positive feedback from delegates and always appreciate comments on how the courses can be made even better. A summary of the feedback can be viewed here.
