2011 results summary
The 2011 Membership Survey received close to 600 responses, from approximately 100 countries. We would like to thank everyone who took part in the survey.
The majority of our members continue to most value receiving the journal. The web lectures are also proving popular. This year new web lectures have been added from our education courses, as well as through OnDemand, where members can view all lectures from previous congresses including the recent World Congress in LA which can now be viewed online.
Our members highlighted the quality of our member services, particularly the journal and online lectures. We have also taken steps to improve accessibility to OnDemand by creating a quick link.
You overwhelmingly requested to be contacted by email, which we have listened to. We no longer send print newsletters and renewal reminders are following a similar pattern.
We are pleased to report that we are planning to introduce a new and innovative encyclopedia on obstetrics and gynecology (VeUOG). Further news on this new educational resource will be released in due course.
Following feedback from our members we are taking ISUOG’s anomalies course to Paris in February 2012 for the first time. Further education courses will continue to take place in London including a gynecology course in December 2011 and a further course in June 2012.
