The two-day course will be held in Cairo on the 29th and the 30th October 2019. The course will be conducted in English, and is directed by Prof. Dalia El Haieg and Prof. Mona Aboulghar.

The EFRE Ultrasound interest group aims at providing regular ultrasound workshops in the field of infertility. MEFS is a 26 years old Society active in the region of the Middle East in infertility & ART, they are holding their 26th annual meeting in Cairo just after this precongress course. This two days course offers a comprehensive theoretical and practical review of the accurate sectional plan, assessment of the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes and adnexal lesions.

Prof. Rasha Kamel is currently a Professor of Ob/Gyn, Cairo University Hospitals, Consultant of fetal medicine, CAIFM, where she teaches undergraduates, postgraduates and ultrasound specialists.
She supervises management of inpatients and labour ward patients as well as minimal and major surgical procedures carried out in the university hospitals.

She organises basic and advanced ultrasound teaching courses as well as specialised courses.
Her work also entails research and currently conducting various projects with international bodies.

Prof. Sherif Negm is a Professor  of Obstetrics and Gynecology at  Cairo University, and a senior consultant in the Fetal Medicine Unit of Cairo University (CAIFM). In the CAIFM unit he supervises the work of the clinical fellows in the Department which includes diagnosing and managing challenging cases. He is responsible for conducting the written and clinical examinations for the fetal medicine diploma granted by their unit, as well as the qualifying examinations for the fellows of the unit . He has several ultrasound related publications in regional and international peer reviewed Journals.
