Last week, the ISUOG education team visited Rotterdam for our Basic Training course on gynecology at the Erasmus University Medical Center. In addition to our 68 delegates, the course was successfully live-streamed around the world to over 250 remote delegates via nine different satellites. The aim of the course was to provide an introduction to the basic principles of ultrasound in gynecology, through a theoretical session on Friday 16th February and a hands-on simulation session on Saturday 17th February.

The international faculty for this course consisted of Shabnam Bobdiwala, (Co-chair), Jeroen Kaijser (Co-chair), Chiara Landolfo, Ingrid Brussé, Titia Cohen-Overbeek, Monique Haak, and Anneke Steensma.

"It was a successful event and participants are already asking when the next event will hold. The lectures were well structured and superbly delivered. The pretest exposed our gap in knowledge and the post test shows how much we had learnt from the training."
