With just over a week before our Virtual World Congress, I am really looking forward to our extensive scientific progamme. This year we have over 350 hours of presentations, daily Masterclasses and live scan demonstrations with some really interesting scientific research and speakers selected by our Scientific Committee.

Our fantastic line up of keynote speakers promises to be one of the highlights on the 2021 World Congress. We will bring you the leaders in the field to deliver these lectures that explore topics including:
  • Pioneering work on computer vision and machine learning/deep learning computer-aided diagnosis.
  • The latest research in Coronavirus in pregnancy and delivery.
  • Exciting new developments within regenerative medicine, including directed differentiation of stem cells, design of novel bioactive scaffolds and new approaches towards tissue regeneration.

These plenaries and special lectures will inform and inspire our community with a focus on the most important topics, challenges and opportunities that face the OBGYN and ultrasound profession.

We have an array of world renowned favourites in the field, who have promised to present state-of-the-art masterclasses. For example, there will be master classes on How far can we push the visualization of anatomy in the first trimester in pregnancy? or The whole brain: a dummy guide to assessing anatomy and gyration). Our daily live scans will include topics such as recent advances in the management of placenta accreta spectrum, using ultrasound to guide surgery: from endometriosis to oncology and beyond and Crazy hearts: when the heart beat does not look normal. .

Lastly we also have confirmation that attendees can gain up to 21 CME / CPD points with EACCME, AMA, RCPSC, Sonography Canada, ARDMS, BEN and other accrediting bodies for your professional development.

I hope to see you there
