The ISUOG Outreach pilot trip to Oman began this week in Muscat, with four ISUOG volunteer trainers teaching theoretical and practical ultrasound skills to 28 trainees from across the country. The project has been organised in partnership with the Omani government and GE healthcare.

After only a few days of instruction, trainees are already beginning to apply concepts from image optimization and demonstrating proficiency in basic biometry. Read more about this project in the Outreach blog, with posts written each day from the experiences of ISUOG trainers Dr. Titia Cohen-Overbeek, Dr. Nimrah Abbasi, Dr. Valeria Angioni and Dr. Pauline Schut.
