Emerging technologies in early pre-natal diagnosis

A comprehensive update on techniques, clinical application, follow up and counselling of non invasive pre natal testing.  
This course is organise in partnership with ISPD

Learning objectives:

1.Understand the principles behind cell free DNA testing and be better able to evaluate the test results

2. Identify the difference between non-invasive prenatal testing for aneuploidy and diagnosis for other genetic disorders and know when these tests could be offered

3.Gain  insight into the counselling of patients about use of cell free DNA and karyotyping

Transvaginal ultrasound in gynecological oncology

Luca Saveli will Chair this intensive course on transvaginal ultrasound in gynecological oncology supported by an international expert faculty.

Learning objectives:

Upon completion of this course, the participant will know how gynecological ultrasound examination can be used to identify abnormal pelvic pathology, how to differentiate between benign and malignant pelvic lesions and the role of ultrasound in optimizing clinical management of gynecological patients with pathological conditions in the pelvis.

ISUOG Basic Training Course

An introduction to the basic principles of ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology presented by an esteemed faculty of international experts. Aimed at entry level trainees or those looking to refresh their knowledge, the course will include interactive lectures, panel discussions, Q & A sessions and conclude with an "ask the experts" quiz over drinks and canapés.
