How ISUOG will use information collected from job applicants in line with GDPR

After applying for a role with ISUOG, we will use the information provided on your application form to process your application and monitor recruitment statistics.

In circumstances where we need to disclose your details to individuals/organisations outside ISUOG, such as conducting background checks including references, professional qualifications or obtaining a disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service, and we will notify you in advance of doing so, unless we are required to disclose this information by law. All application details will be stored and retained on our records until they are no longer required.

Details of unsuccessful candidates are kept for 6 months after which the data is deleted from our records.

If you would like ISUOG to delete your details from our records, please write to jobs@isuog.org.

We keep and use anonymous statistical information from applicants to enhance our recruitment processes and to monitor equality and diversity. This will not contain any information that could identify individual job applicants.

If an applicant has been successful and begins employment with ISUOG, we will create a personal file, which will contain information you have provided. The information stored will be kept secure at all times and will only be used in circumstances that directly relate with your employment with ISUOG.
