If you have been invited to present an oral poster please read the information below.

See below to find out how to prepare and submit your poster and how to join the session on the day if you are presenting virtually.

VIRTUAL presentations:

Poster format:
All poster presenters will be asked to pre-record a short 1 minute video, these will then be played during the poster session. This will be followed by a live Q&A with the chair and audience.
How to prepare your presentation
You should pre-record your poster presentation and submit it in advance of the Congress. Please read the detailed advice below.

  • You should only use one PowerPoint slide per presentation. An additional title slide is permitted if necessary.
  • Total duration of your pre-recorded presentation must not exceed 1 minute. Presentations exceeding this time will not be accepted and you will be required to record it again.
  •  You must upload an .MP4 file only containing your pre-recorded talk and slides (maximum file size: 1.5GB).
  • Download ISUOG’s OP template hereYou can use your own template if preferred.

Once you have prepared your PowerPoint slides you will then need to record your presentation. Two suggestions on how to do this are below:

- Using PowerPoint:
Audio recording (narration): Use the ‘Record Slide Show’ option within PowerPoint to record your audio presentation as you go through your slides. You will need to save the final file as mp4 and upload this to our speaker management portal (eOrganiser). You can find detailed instructions on how to do this here.

- Using Zoom:
Video recording: Use Zoom to record yourself on camera giving your presentation with your slides shown in your ‘shared screen’. You can find detailed instructions on how to do this here.
Recommendation: rehearse giving your presentation and time yourself ahead of capturing the final recording. Make sure you only upload the final presentation you are happy to share with our audience.

You will have been sent a calendar invitation. If you are participating in multiple sessions, we do not expect you to participate in multiple rehearsals, but we do ask that you attend at least one.

On the day:
We will email you separately with a link to join the live webinar on the day and time of your poster session. You are required to join the webinar 30 minutes early and participate for the duration of your session.
