The ISUOG volunteer recruitment for 2026 is now open.
At the end of 2025, ISUOG Outreach in Kyrgyzstan completed its third trip in phase two, in Osh, Kyrgyzstan. This marked the first time that phase two has been fully completed in the region, bringing new-and-improved ultrasound knowledge to local clinicians.
April 2026 is Adenomyosis Awareness Month – a time to give dedicated attention to an often-over-looked uterine condition, and reflect upon the evolving landscape of diagnosis and treatment of the last few years.
The April issue of Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology includes a systematic review and meta-analysis evaluating perinatal and maternal outcomes of extremely early-onset fetal growth restriction, a prospective multicenter cohort study assessing single-cell-based non-invasive prenatal testing for detecting fetal pathogenic microimbalances, a retrospective cohort study investigating the predictive value of gB2-specific antibodies for maternal–fetal transmission following primary cytomegalovirus infection treated with valacyclovir, and a multicenter case–control study developing a radiomics-based ultrasound model for differentiating uterine sarcomas from leiomyomas.
ISUOG’s most recent advanced educational event in India achieved great attendance from healthcare professionals in the region and online, bringing high-level OB/GYN ultrasound education to over 200 attendees world-wide.
