Program: Lectures (ultrasound physics including artefacts, examination technique, image optimization, adnexal masses, abnormal vaginal bleeding, endometriosis, three-dimensional (3D) ultrasound, management of incidentally detected adnexal masses and incidentally detected ”thick endometrium”, acute pelvic pain, non-gynecological causes of pain, Cesarean scar niches, early pregnancy complications, MUSA, IETA, IDEA terminology), LIVE scanning, case presentations, interactive sessions. Includes IOTA (International Ovarian Tumor Analysis) certification test and access to ADNEX app (included in course price).
Examination: Written test at the end of the course. Possibility to become IOTA certified. Participants who take the IOTA test will get access to the Gynaia website which contains educational material and the ADNEX app.
Goal: After having participated in this course, participants should be able to use gynecological ultrasound in an optimal way in clinical practice.
