Course Overview
The AFRIC / EFMF Course is a comprehensive two-day educational programme dedicated to the practical use of ultrasound in obstetrical and gynaecological emergencies. Through expert lectures, interactive case-based discussions, live demonstrations and supervised hands-on training, participants will strengthen their diagnostic skills and clinical decision-making in everyday practice.
Learning Objectives
• Apply ultrasound effectively in common obstetrical and gynaecological emergencies.
• Improve the diagnosis and management of antepartum haemorrhage, fetal growth restriction and twin pregnancy.
• Enhance fetal heart and fetal brain assessment.
• Master the ultrasound approach to adnexal masses, ovarian torsion, acute pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding and early pregnancy complications.
• Integrate evidence-based ultrasound findings into patient management.
