Join us for this livestream course 'Obstetrics scanning beyond the fetus' on Sunday 26 of October 2025, led by Prof. Eric Jauniaux, Prof. Francesco D’Antonio & Prof. Davor Jurkovic.

Trainees/residents and sonographers/radiographers

Proof of status: All trainees, residents, sonographers and radiographers will need to submit proof of their trainee, resident, sonographer or radiographer status by way of a letter from their Department or Institution. The letter must be in English and dated within the last 3 months. The document can be uploaded at the time of registering or sent by email to [email protected].

Sonographer definition: A sonographer is a non-physician medical imaging professional who performs diagnostic medical sonography, or diagnostic ultrasound.

Trainee/resident definition: A trainee is a medical professional who is not yet fully qualified or practicing without supervision within their chosen specialty and in accordance with the relevant national regulatory authorities; a resident is in residency training which leads to specially or subspecialty) certification.

Prof. Eric Jauniaux (UK) Outreach Committee member

Prof. Eric Jauniuax was appointed as a Senior lecturer and consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at University College London and University College Hospital in 1995. He had previously been a lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at King’s College Hospital, London. He was a full time academic consultant in Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine until 2010. He developed the Early Pregnancy Unit in 1996 and the twin clinic in 1998. He was awarded a personal chair in Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine at UCL in 2002. His academic work and clinical activities have been focussed in placental and fetal development and the diagnosis management of placental related-complications of pregnancy– covering the full spectrum from the anatomy and physiology to the diagnosis and treatment in utero of placental and fetal diseases. He has also developed a special interest in the pathophysiology of miscarriage and the management of ART pregnancies and in particular twin pregnancies. In addition to his work with ISUOG, Prof. Jauniaux also runs courses in Africa for FIGO (International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics) and medical films for Medical Aid Films.

Francesco D’Antonio, MD, PhD, is a professor and consultant in maternal-fetal medicine at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Chieti, Italy. Dr. D’Antonio has previously worked in the Fetal Medicine Unit at St. George's Hospital, London, UK, in the High-risk Pregnancy Unit at Catholic University of The Sacred Heart Hospital, Rome, Italy and in the University Hospital of Northern Norway, Tromsø. D’Antonio is in the Editorial Board of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Davor Jurkovic is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Director of Gynaecology Diagnostic and Outpatient Treatment Unit at University College Hospital London. His main clinical and academic interest is the use of ultrasound in the diagnosis and management of early pregnancy and gynaecological abnormalities. He has pioneered the use of colour Doppler in gynaecology and early pregnancy as well as the use of three-dimensional ultrasound for the diagnosis of congenital uterine anomalies. He has published more than 250 papers in the international peer review journals and has edited five books on gynaecological ultrasound. Read more.

Does ISUOG offer certificates of attendance for education courses?

Yes, ISUOG offers certificates of attendance for our education courses. Please note the ISUOG certificate of attendance will be available for one year after a course.

Does ISUOG offer CME certificates for education courses?

Education courses with CME accreditation will be clearly highlighted on the webpage, please check the course webpage for all information and updates on this.

Please note the CME certificate will be available for one month after the live event day of the course. After one month registered delegates will only be able to download their ISUOG certificate of attendance.

If CME is not clearly advertised then the course has no accreditation attributed to it.

How do I download my certificate?

Following a course registered delegates will receive an email with a link to submit an evaluation form. After completing the evaluation form, registered delegates will be redirected to their certificate, which can be filled in before downloading. Please be sure to download your certificate before exiting the survey.

How long is the on-demand available for?

All registered delegates for ISUOG Advanced courses receive access to the on-demand content (the lectures, panel discussions and supplement your learning) for 2 months after the event date.

How do I gain access to the course on the day?

When you have registered for a course, it will take 15 minutes for you to be integrated into our system. This means if you sign up on the day, you may have to wait up to 15 minutes to gain access to the livestream.

The login details will be provided in the joining instructions running up to the day, as well as sent a final time on the morning of the course. Please ensure you check your emails, including you spam/junk folder. The link to the livestream platform will also be included in the joining instructions, so make sure you ready through it thoroughly.

I've signed up to multiple courses, which login do I use?

If you have signed up for multiple courses, to gain access to all of them you will need to use the most recent login details sent to you.

For example if you signed up for a course in May and your confirmation number was 1234, and then signed up for a course in June and your confirmation number was 5678. You would use the latest confirmation number (in this case 5678) as the password to login to both courses to veiw.
