Join us on Sunday 21 February 2027 for our advanced livestreamed education course on 'The perfect match: sonography and surgery for endometriosis' led by Prof. George Condous and A/Prof. Ligita Jokubkiene. This course is in collaboration with the the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE) and the European Endometriosis League (EEL).
This course provides a comprehensive and practical exploration of the complementary roles of advanced sonography and surgery in the assessment and management of endometriosis. Across five dedicated sessions, the course will take participants from the fundamental principles of endometriosis and adenomyosis through to detailed assessment of disease across the anterior, posterior and lateral pelvic compartments, before progressing to more advanced and challenging cases.Led by experienced international faculty, the course will explore the latest developments in the ultrasound diagnosis, classification and mapping of endometriosis, with a particular focus on how imaging findings can inform surgical planning and patient management. Through dynamic lectures, clinical cases and interactive discussions, participants will develop a deeper understanding of the relationship between sonographic findings, disease extent and surgical approaches.
The course is designed for sonographers, obstetricians and gynaecologists, surgical and medical specialists, interventional radiologists and surgeon-sonologists involved in the diagnosis and management of endometriosis.
Participants will leave with an enhanced understanding of advanced endometriosis sonography and its integration with surgical practice, helping them to improve diagnostic confidence, accurately map disease and support more informed, patient-centred management.
