We are looking for a Social Media Editor (SME) to lead the development and delivery of engaging content to promote the UOG Journal across social media platforms and the ISUOG website. Interested candidates should have a strong interest in shaping social media strategy and be driven to seek ways to improve the presence of UOG content on social media to increase engagement and article dissemination.
Applicants for the position should be a medical or allied medical professional, practicing in the field of obstetrics and/or gynecology and/or ultrasound. This position is perfect for those who have recently specialised.
Prospective applicants should be able to demonstrate a particular interest and some degree of experience in producing social media content and promotional communications (e.g. news articles, blogs etc.) linked to scientific, health-based content, as well as experience of using various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. An established presence on social media is desirable.
