Regional representation of ISUOG required!

ISUOG is seeking to increase its regional representatives – Ambassadors - to promote the organisation’s activities and initiatives predominantly locally, but also worldwide and within their own speciality, and to deliver an active and engaged membership appropriate to a learned society as well as connecting with professional partners and sponsors to develop their relationship with ISUOG.

 

Deadline for applications: Tuesday 21 April 2026, 5:00 PM / London UK time

The applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Current ISUOG membership.
  • Good standing professionally with no outstanding or past adverse disciplinary, regulatory or criminal investigations and in full compliance with ISUOG Code of Conduct.
  • Current residence and work in the geographical area for which they apply unless in exceptional circumstances.
  • Good links with local organisations and a local contact base that might help ISUOG.
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to deliver ISUOG education in the geographical region or specialism for which appointment is sought, e.g. by having organized an ISUOG-approved course in the region for which appointment is sought.
  • Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of ISUOG’s Mission, Vision and consequential activities and a willingness to mentor, support and co-operate with all local ISUOG members as well as trainees.
  • A willingness to help ISUOG Secretariat organise local events for members to improve member engagement.
  • Proactively promote ISUOG membership, educational activities, events, Journal and clinical resources in social media, websites and other channels in their region of influence.
  • A willingness to work with the Secretariat to identify and make contact with potential partners (including Government organisations) and sponsors to increase their involvement with ISUOG.

Please note that in order to be considered for the role, all applicants MUST:-

  • have an active ISUOG membership;
  • return the requested recruitment documentation by the deadline (NB no extensions will be given and late submissions will not be accepted; submissions to a different email address will not be accepted);
  • fill the application form using the link above with all fields and questions being mandatory (failing to complete the form will result in your application being excluded from consideration);
  • send a CV, which must not exceed 3 A4 pages.

Successful applicants will be announced in due course as soon as all recruitment stages have been completed.

All applicants will be notified about the outcome of their application at the very latest by the end of August.
