ISUOG Clinical Standards Committee Member recruitment

The ISUOG Clinical Standards Committee is looking for active members to support the critical development of ISUOG practice guidelines and consensus statements and to contribute to improvement and standardisation of medical care for obstetrics and gynecology.

In 2026, ISUOG is recruiting for multiple member vacancies with a specialty in both gynecology and obstetrics, details of which are outlined below.

To ensure balance amongst the Committee membership, our criteria (merit) for recruitment include:

  1. Knowledge of evidence-based medicine (systematic reviews, meta-analysis, assessment of bias and quality, trials, consensus by Delphi, etc.). 
  2. Knowledge or experience in writing guidelines / consensus statements.
  3. Candidate applications from medium- or low-income countries with special interest in ultrasound.
  4. Specialty focus in gynecology is particularly welcomed.
  5. Ability to commit time to working actively and collaboratively with the Committee during the guideline review process and Committee meetings throughout the year.

  • have an active ISUOG membership;
  • return the requested recruitment documentation by the deadline (NB no extensions will be given and late submissions will not be accepted; submissions to a different email address will not be accepted);
  • fill the application form using the link above with all fields and questions being mandatory (failing to complete the form will result in your application being excluded from consideration);
  • send a CV, which must not exceed 3 A4 pages.

Successful applicants will be announced in due course as soon as all recruitment stages have been completed.
