ISUOG Digital Learning Sub-Committee Member recruitment

ISUOG’s Digital Learning (DL) Sub-Committee is seeking enthusiastic and experienced members to join this Sub-Committee and help shape the Society’s online education strategy, by advising on content priorities, and supporting the creation, updating, and review of online materials found on the ISUOG Academy, such as ISUOG’s Advanced Training Curriculum (ATC), and CME activities. DL Sub-Committee members will ensure quality standards are met (including EACCME accreditation where appropriate) and play an important role in extending the reach and impact of ISUOG’s digital education portfolio. This role is well-suited to individuals who are passionate about medical education and communication, and who are interested in using their clinical and academic expertise to contribute to high-quality global educational initiatives beyond traditional clinical practice, and who are motivated to help shape the future direction of ISUOG’s digital education provision, including the implementation of a new learning management system.
This is an exciting time to join the Digital Learning Sub-Committee, with significant developments underway in ISUOG’s digital education provision. Members will be able to contribute to new educational initiatives, influence the learner experience, and support the continued growth of ISUOG’s global online learning portfolio.
In 2026, ISUOG is recruiting for multiple member positions to increase regional representation within the Sub-Committee and to actively contribute to and deliver on as set out in both the terms of reference and the working plan.
To ensure balance amongst the Sub-Committee, our criteria (merit) for recruitment include:
- An understanding of continuing medical education (CME) principles and experience of online or blended learning environments.
- Clinical or academic expertise in a key area relevant to ISUOG’s educational portfolio.
- Strong written communication skills in English.
- Experience in undergraduate, postgraduate or continuing professional medical education.
- Ability and willingness to contribute time to the review, development and promotion of online educational content within the ISUOG Academy.
- Capacity to engage actively in Sub-Committee activities and contribute between meetings.
- An interest in digital education innovation and in supporting the development of high-quality, modular online learning activities.
- Awareness of accreditation requirements (e.g. EACCME) and quality standards in medical education.
