ISUOG NGen (Next Generation) Committee member recruitment

ISUOG’s Next Generation (NGen) Committee brings a new level of engagement to ISUOG in developing a pathway for trainees and junior clinicians to become further involved in our mission and work. The vision of the NGen group is to support, guide, mentor and inspire trainees and newly qualified clinicians worldwide in Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology. We are recruiting active and engaged trainees or clinicians to join this Committee in support of ISUOG’s broad activities.

In 2024, ISUOG is recruiting for 1 member position to increase regional representation within the Committee and to actively contribute as set out in both the terms of reference and the working plan. 

To ensure balance amongst the Committee, our criteria (merit) for recruitment include:

1.    To fulfil the requirements of a trainee or a clinician* set out in the Committee terms of reference as individuals who:-
a)    have completed at least three years of residency training,
b)    at the point of application, should be within two years of completing training,
-    and are qualified to take on specific duties in support of ISUOG’s broad activities.

* Clinicians include all ultrasound professionals for example, sonographers and midwives.

2.    A track record of academic interest and scientific productivity.

3.    Current residence/work and knowledge of the geographical area for which a candidate applies.

4.    Good links with local organisations and/or institutions.

Please note that in order to be considered for the role, all applicants MUST:-
•    have an active ISUOG membership;
•    return the requested recruitment documentation by the deadline (NB no extensions will be given and late submissions will not be accepted);
•    fill the application form using the link above with all fields and questions being mandatory (failing to complete the form will result in your application being excluded from consideration); 
•    send a CV, which must not exceed 3 A4 pages.

Successful applicants will be announced in due course as soon as all recruitment stages have been completed.
