Scientific Committee Member recruitment

ISUOG is looking for active and experienced members to join our Scientific Committee. Successful applicants will play a vital role in developing the program for the ISUOG World Congress, our flagship event that regularly attracts over 3000 delegates. The successful applicant will work with the Scientific Committee to ensure that event programs deliver the latest cutting edge research, are engaging and innovative, and reflect the international diversity of our professional community.
The Scientific Committee also oversee program development of our Regional Symposia, a responsibility delegated to the Symposium Advisory Group whose membership changes per Symposia currently.
In 2026, ISUOG is recruiting 1 candidate to represent gynecology and 2 candidates to represent obstetrics.
To further enhance the balance amongst the Committee our criteria (merit) for recruitment include:
- Demonstrated experience in the creation of congress, symposia, seminar, conference, or course scientific and/or educational programmes;
- Specialist in obstetrics, gynecology or allied field in women’s health and / or imaging;
- Internationally recognised record of scientific expertise in own field of practice;
- Demonstrated commitment to ISUOG’s mission to improve women’s health;
- Ability to commit time to working actively and collaboratively with the Committee throughout the Congress programme development process and attendance at the Congress.

- have an active ISUOG membership;
- return the requested recruitment documentation by the deadline (NB no extensions will be given and late submissions will not be accepted; submissions to a different email address will not be accepted);
- fill the application form using the link above with all fields and questions being mandatory (failing to complete the form will result in your application being excluded from consideration);
- send a CV, which must not exceed 3 A4 pages.
Successful applicants will be announced in due course as soon as all recruitment stages have been completed.
