Fetal echo constitutes one of the main sub – specialities of FETAL IMAGING , with complex anatomy ,cardiac anomalies & management  , the prenatal diagnosis relies on adequate training and knowledge on cardiac anatomy & anomalies.

This course has two parts.

The first one consists Interactive lectures involving topics from basic to advanced FETAL ECHO imaging and live scan demonstration by FACULTIES which is open to all the participants  .

The second part is the workshop / hands on / VIRTUAL REALITY TRAINING will be for LIMITED PARTICIPANTS .

Prof. Marcin Wiechec MD, PhD is a certified OB/GYN sonologist of the Polish Ultrasound Society and both an academic and post-graduate teacher at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. As an avid international speaker, he has spoken on OB/GYN ultrasound in over than 80 events around the world including in Europe, the Middle East, USA and Africa. He is also the co-founder of the recognised school of ultrasound- "MWU Ultrasound Workshops”. Marcin is the head of 3D printing projects: “3D printing of the normal and abnormal fetal heart for prentatal cardiac scan teaching”, and “MWU Hysteroscopy training set".

Dr. Tiran Dias worked as a clinical fellow in Fetal Medicine at the Fetal Medicine unit at St George’s Hospital NHS Trust in London for more than two and half years. Afterwards, he returned to his native Sri Lanka where is now Senior Lecturer at the University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka.  In addition, he runs an independent Fetal Medicine clinic at Ninewells Care Hospital in Sri Lanka.

He is an honorary sonologist and fetal medicine consultant at the NHL municipal medical college & KM school of post graduate medical studies, affiliated to Gujarat University.
