This intensive course offers a comprehensive and up-to-date exploration of the role of ultrasound in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of gynaecological malignancies, delivered by an international faculty of leading experts. Participants will enhance their understanding of pelvic anatomy, patterns of disease spread, tumour characterisation, and the application of ultrasound in the detection and staging of gynaecological cancers.

The programme covers key topics including the ultrasound evaluation of ovarian, endometrial, cervical, vulvar, and vaginal malignancies, risk stratification of adnexal masses, assessment of myometrial and cervical invasion, and the role of ultrasound in guiding clinical decision-making and multidisciplinary care. It also explores emerging techniques, advances in imaging protocols, and current best practice recommendations. Through expert-led case discussions, interactive sessions, and practical insights, delegates will gain confidence in applying ultrasound to improve diagnostic accuracy and support timely, effective patient management.

Integrating foundational principles with real-world clinical challenges, this course provides evidence-based guidance relevant to everyday practice in oncological gynaecology.

Trainees/residents and sonographers/radiographers

Proof of status: All trainees, residents, sonographers and radiographers will need to submit proof of their trainee, resident, sonographer or radiographer status by way of a letter from their Department or Institution. The letter must be in English and dated within the last 3 months. The document can be uploaded at the time of registering or sent by email to [email protected].

Sonographer definition: A sonographer is a non-physician medical imaging professional who performs diagnostic medical sonography, or diagnostic ultrasound.

Trainee/resident definition: A trainee is a medical professional who is not yet fully qualified or practicing without supervision within their chosen specialty and in accordance with the relevant national regulatory authorities; a resident is in residency training which leads to specially or subspecialty) certification.

A/Prof. Ligita Jokubkiene (Sweden) Courses Sub-Committee Chair

Ligita Jokubkiene is an associate professor at Lund university, Sweden and senior consultant in obstetrics and gynecology at the Department of Obstetrics and gynecology, at Skane University Hospital Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Malmö, Swede. She has defended her thesis with the title ”Three-dimensional ultrasound studies of normal and abnormal ovaries” in 2012. Currently she is an active researcher leading several research projects with focus on ultrasound diagnostics in gynecology, particularly on endometriosis, pelvic floor birth-related injuries and pelvic pain. She is also participating in international multicenter studies lead by IOTAnstudying ovarian masses. Ligita Jokubkiene is supervising master and PhD students.

Ligita Jokubkiene organizes and leads national and international courses on ultrasound diagnostics from basic to advanced level. She has been an invited speaker at many international courses and congresses. Ligita Jokubkiene is a chair of Educational courses subcommittee at ISUOG (International Society of ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology). She is also a chair of the Ultrasound reference group at Swedish Society of Obstetrics and gynecology in Sweden.

Does ISUOG offer certificates of attendance for education courses?

Yes, ISUOG offers certificates of attendance for our education courses. Please note the ISUOG certificate of attendance will be available for one year after a course.

Does ISUOG offer an enhanced certificate?

Yes, ISUOG offers an enhanced certificate upon successful completion of the post-course test.

The test will be available for one month following the live course date.

Does ISUOG offer CME certificates for education courses?

Education courses with CME accreditation will be clearly highlighted on the webpage, please check the course webpage for all information and updates on this.

Please note the CME certificate will be available for one month after the live event day of the course. After one month registered delegates will only be able to download their ISUOG certificate of attendance.

If CME is not clearly advertised then the course has no accreditation attributed to it.

How do I download my certificate?

Following a course registered delegates will receive an email with a link to submit an evaluation form. After completing the evaluation form, registered delegates will be redirected to their certificate, which can be filled in before downloading. Please be sure to download your certificate before exiting the survey.

How long is the on-demand available for?

All registered delegates for ISUOG Advanced courses receive access to the on-demand content (the lectures, panel discussions and supplement your learning) for 2 months after the event date.

How do I gain access to the course on the day?

When you have registered for a course, it will take 15 minutes for you to be integrated into our system. This means if you sign up on the day, you may have to wait up to 15 minutes to gain access to the livestream.

The login details will be provided in the joining instructions running up to the day, as well as sent a final time on the morning of the course. Please ensure you check your emails, including you spam/junk folder. The link to the livestream platform will also be included in the joining instructions, so make sure you ready through it thoroughly.

I've signed up to multiple courses, which login do I use?

If you have signed up for multiple courses, to gain access to all of them you will need to use the most recent login details sent to you.

For example if you signed up for a course in May and your confirmation number was 1234, and then signed up for a course in June and your confirmation number was 5678. You would use the latest confirmation number (in this case 5678) as the password to login to both courses to veiw.
