This intensive course offers a comprehensive and up-to-date exploration of the role of ultrasound in fertility assessment and management, delivered by an international faculty of leading experts. Participants will enhance their understanding of reproductive anatomy and physiology, follicular development, endometrial assessment, and the application of ultrasound in both natural and assisted conception pathways.

The programme covers key topics including fertility evaluation, ovulation tracking, identification of common pathologies, and ultrasound-guided procedures, alongside emerging techniques and best practice recommendations. Through expert-led case discussions, interactive sessions, and practical insights, delegates will gain confidence in applying ultrasound to improve diagnostic accuracy and optimise patient outcomes.

Integrating foundational principles with real-world clinical challenges, this course provides evidence-based guidance relevant to everyday practice. All delegates receive access to an ATC on-demand course, ensuring a strong knowledge base ahead of the live sessions.

Trainees/residents and sonographers/radiographers

Proof of status: All trainees, residents, sonographers and radiographers will need to submit proof of their trainee, resident, sonographer or radiographer status by way of a letter from their Department or Institution. The letter must be in English and dated within the last 3 months. The document can be uploaded at the time of registering or sent by email to [email protected].

Sonographer definition: A sonographer is a non-physician medical imaging professional who performs diagnostic medical sonography, or diagnostic ultrasound.

Trainee/resident definition: A trainee is a medical professional who is not yet fully qualified or practicing without supervision within their chosen specialty and in accordance with the relevant national regulatory authorities; a resident is in residency training which leads to specially or subspecialty) certification.

Low resource country discount

Non-members: All non-members registering for the course will receive ISUOG basic membership for 12 months, starting approximately the week after the live event. Prof. Simon Meagher (Australia) ISUOG Trustee

Dr Simon Meagher is consultant sonologist at the Perinatal department, Mercy Hospital for Women, Melbourne. He also serves as Medical Director of Monash Ultrasound for Women where he oversees a team of 50 sonologists, sonographers, genetic counsellors, phlebotomists and administrative staff in delivering a tertiary level ultrasound service across south east Melbourne. Dr Meagher has dedicated 30 years of his term as Medical Director, teaching and lecturing in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound both locally and overseas. He has delivered over 800 lectures, across 17 countries, and 43 cities worldwide. In 2015, he was awarded ‘Sonologist of The Year’ by the Australian society of Ultrasound in medicine (ASUM) in recognition of his teaching skills and his commitment to hands on training within the hospital setting at the Mercy Hospital for Women and for his commitment and contributions to ASUM.

His interest in clinical research has focussed on early pregnancy screening and diagnosis he has published over 100 articles in peer review journals, including 15 articles in the last 3 years focusing on first trimester pregnancy screening and diagnosis. Dr Meagher has described five original sonographic fetal markers during the first and second trimesters of pregnancy. He is now focusing his interest on aneuploidy and embryo development from seven to 10 weeks as we approach the dawn of a new era of genetic screening via free fetal DNA analysis.

Dr Meagher has taken on multiple leadership positions - early in his career as the Chair of the Standards of Practice Committee at ASUM, examiner and executive board member for the ASUM Diploma of diagnostic ultrasound and later as council member of ASUM. Thereafter he served as Chairman of the Victoria Obstetric Sonologists group and on several ISUOG Sub-Committees at the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound.

A/Prof. Simone Ferrero (Italy) Courses Sub-Committee member

Prof. Simone Ferrero is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Genova. He graduated from the University of Genova in Northern Italy and obtained his Ph.D. in the Queen Mary University of London in the United Kingdom with a thesis entitled “Protein and cellular studies on the peritoneal fluid of women with endometriosis”. Prof. Simone Ferrero has published over 300 peer-reviewed articles and edited several international books on endometriosis, uterine fibroids and endometrial cancer.

The main areas of his research are endometriosis and uterine fibroids. Prof. Simone Ferrero has extensive experience in the ultrasonographic diagnosis of gynecological conditions, in the hormonal and the laparoscopic treatment of endometriosis and fibroids.

Does ISUOG offer certificates of attendance for education courses?

Yes, ISUOG offers certificates of attendance for our education courses. Please note the ISUOG certificate of attendance will be available for one year after a course.

Does ISUOG offer an enhanced certificate?

Yes, ISUOG offers an enhanced certificate upon successful completion of the post-course test.

The test will be available for one month following the live course date.

Does ISUOG offer CME certificates for education courses?

Education courses with CME accreditation will be clearly highlighted on the webpage, please check the course webpage for all information and updates on this.

Please note the CME certificate will be available for one month after the live event day of the course. After one month registered delegates will only be able to download their ISUOG certificate of attendance.

If CME is not clearly advertised then the course has no accreditation attributed to it.

How do I download my certificate?

Following a course registered delegates will receive an email with a link to submit an evaluation form. After completing the evaluation form, registered delegates will be redirected to their certificate, which can be filled in before downloading. Please be sure to download your certificate before exiting the survey.

How long is the on-demand available for?

All registered delegates for ISUOG Advanced courses receive access to the on-demand content (the lectures, panel discussions and supplement your learning) for 2 months after the event date.

How do I gain access to the course on the day?

When you have registered for a course, it will take 15 minutes for you to be integrated into our system. This means if you sign up on the day, you may have to wait up to 15 minutes to gain access to the livestream.

The login details will be provided in the joining instructions running up to the day, as well as sent a final time on the morning of the course. Please ensure you check your emails, including you spam/junk folder. The link to the livestream platform will also be included in the joining instructions, so make sure you ready through it thoroughly.

I've signed up to multiple courses, which login do I use?

If you have signed up for multiple courses, to gain access to all of them you will need to use the most recent login details sent to you.

For example if you signed up for a course in May and your confirmation number was 1234, and then signed up for a course in June and your confirmation number was 5678. You would use the latest confirmation number (in this case 5678) as the password to login to both courses to veiw.
