Compliance:
We are pleased to confirm that the 36th World Congress on Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology has been pre-cleared by Ethical MedTech. This pre-clearance confirms that the venue and location have been assessed as compliant with the MedTech Europe Code of Ethical Business Practice and the EFPIA Code of Practice. As the Conference Vetting System (CVS) also reviews alignment with the Mecomed Code of Ethical Business Practice, this approval additionally confirms compliance with the Mecomed requirements. Please note that the pre-clearance is an initial stage of the assessment process, and ISUOG will complete the full event submission for final approval once all relevant program details are confirmed.
Important notice:
Considering the current circumstances in the Middle East region, the ISUOG Trustees and management team are focused on evaluating the potential risks associated with hosting the Congress in Dubai. Our approach remains balanced and diligent; we are actively monitoring the situation without making premature or unnecessary decisions, and our goal is to ensure the Congress remains a successful, impactful space for all our partners and delegates if it is safe to do so. We also understand that in uncertain times, clarity and safety are paramount.
We take our duty of care seriously, and to ensure our community are clear on our approach we have released an important statement, approved by the ISUOG Board of Trustees. We will continue to update everyone as our ongoing internal reviews progress.
In the meantime, we are proceeding as planned, whilst contingency planning in parallel, so the exhibition/sponsorship early bird deadline of 17 May 2026 still stands (10% discount on packages booked/paid by this date). If anything changes with the event structure/format, we would of course liaise with any companies that have booked to ensure their packages are honoured or adjusted as need be, with as much flexibility as we can offer within the circumstances. Please see all information about sponsorship and exhibition opportunities here.
If you have any questions about sponsorship and exhibition opportunities at the Congress, please feel free to contact us.
