Important notice:
Due to recent and ongoing events in the Middle East, the ISUOG Trustees have made the difficult decision to relocate the ISUOG World Congress to London, UK, on 4-7 September 2026. Please read more about this decision here.
Our Trustees have a duty of care regarding the Congress and during the past weeks they have been meeting to carefully consider the options and reach a consensus for next steps. Despite the shared desire to take the Congress to an exciting new region in 2026, the Trustees have agreed that, due to the circumstances, for the event to remain in-person the most viable option is to return to London for this year.
We are pleased to confirm that we will be bringing the Congress to a new space at the London Excel, with excellent facilities and easy travel connections. Attendees can look forward to an exceptional event, great networking and the highest-quality scientific program. Our industry partners can expect the high standards and similar-scaled activities to those they had planned for Dubai.
The exhibition/sponsorship early bird deadline of 17 May 2026 still stands (10% discount on packages booked and paid by this date). If there are any changes to this timeline, ISUOG will endeavour to update all confirmed and prospective sponsors/exhibitors as soon as possible.
Please see all information about sponsorship and exhibition opportunities here. If you have any questions about these opportunities or about the Congress in general, please feel free to contact us.
Compliance:
Before the event was relocated to London, it had already received pre-clearance from Ethical MedTech (Mecomed) for the original Dubai venue. Following the decision to move the event to London, UK, ISUOG will submit an application for congress approval to MedTech Europe through the Conference Vetting System once all relevant event and program details are confirmed.
ISUOG will not be able to obtain official pre-clearance from Ethical MedTech for the London Congress, as pre-clearance can only be given for applications that are started more than 6 months before the event start-date, and this relocation decision was made after that deadline. However, this will not have any impact/effect on the full approval application outcome.
The vast majority of established international medical congresses held in major European scientific hubs, such as London, are assessed as compliant with the MedTech Europe Code of Ethical Business Practice once submitted through the Conference Vetting System. Given these factors, it would be highly unusual for a congress of this nature, organised by an established international medical society in London, to be refused approval.
If you have any questions about sponsorship and exhibition opportunities at the Congress, please feel free to contact us.
