Endometriosis affects an estimated 190 million women, which equates to 10% of reproductive aged women world-wide. Take a look at the resources we have available on endometriosis.

This Endometriosis Awareness Month, we are hoping that our ISUOG members and wider audience share our mission to help raise awareness of this condition that has such widespread effects on women and girls – both their physical and mental wellbeing.

Listen

Back in 2024, the inaugural ISUOG podcast episode was on endometriosis. Two years on, the two episodes remain highly relevant and freely available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Endometriosis is the most popular topic covered on the ISUOG Podcast so far, so make sure to give it a listen. The podcast hosts include A/Prof. Mathew Leonardi, Dr Wendaline VanBuren, Prof. George Condous and Dr Pietro Bortoletto. The ISUOG Podcast is available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

Learn

Once a month, ISUOG makes one VISUOG chapter open access. This month you can access the VISUOG chapter on endometriomas. If you are already an ISUOG member and can access this content all year round, why not let your colleagues know that this month, they too can learn from these accessible resources that also include patient information.

On the ISUOG Academy, you can purchase ATC9: Ultrasound findings of endometriosis, for a deeper dive into the topic.  The course provides a practical overview of the IDEA consensus, demonstrating how a standardised, stepwise ultrasound approach improves detection of superficial and deep disease and enhances reproducibility.
