This year, the ISUOG podcast has continued to provide accessible discussion-based content for professionals in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. The most recent episode sees the speakers discuss their excitement for this year’s ISUOG World Congress program.

Launched in March last year, the ISUOG podcast continues to flourish in 2025. We have been delighted to welcome some of the best-known specialists in the field of ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology in discussions of the latest developments and research.
In February, Dr Federica Fontanella of the NGen Committee, and pioneer in the field Prof. Suresh Seshadri, spoke on all things relating to the past, present and future of fetal medicine and fetal therapy.

In April, Dr Mala Sibal, who sits on the ISUOG Board of Trustees and Dr Maya Al-Memar, Chair of the ISUOG Education Committee, discussed their motivations for entering the field of obstetrics and gynecology. They reflected on their experiences as female doctors and the challenges that they have faced considering the domestic expectations of women.

In May, Dr Srdjan Saso from the NGen Committee caught up with ISUOG past President, Prof. Tom Bourne. They discussed all things gynecological ultrasound, AI, the evolution of IOTA, research culture and the issue of burnout among clinicians.

And this month, with just under a month until the ISUOG World Congress early-bird deadline, members of the Scientific Committee, Prof. Fabricio Da Silva Costa and Dr Jessica Preisler had an exciting discussion on what they are most anticipating from the Congress program.
