ISUOG’s Fetal cardiology conference provided expert-led training to over 700 attendees on how to diagnose fetal cardiac anomalies, in line with the Every Little Heart Matters initiative.
The conference, which took place from 22-23 May, reached clinicians across the globe, both virtually and in-person in Seville, Spain.
Prof. Simon Meagher and Prof. Fatima Crispi, alongside other world-leading experts in the field, led two days of lectures, live scan demonstrations and panel discussions.
Prof. Crispi said: "What an inspiring experience to co-chair this international fetal cardiology meeting in Seville. Thank you to all speakers, participants, and organisers whose enthusiasm and expertise made this event a success. Together, through #EveryLittleHeartMatters, we continue to advance care for the smallest hearts."
Attendee feedback is testament to the high-quality educational content they were able to provide, and the true positive effect of the conference in increasing clinicians' ability to assess the fetal heart.
Here is what some attendees had to say:
“Exceptional course - have learnt a great deal and thoroughly enjoyed it. Engaging speakers and first-class presentations.”
“Although I was not there in person, attending online and live felt almost like being there physically. I enjoyed all the presentations to the fullest.”
“Thanks for making CHD easy to diagnose!”
“The evidence-based teaching, standardised views, and practical interpretation tips made fetal cardiac assessment far more structured and reproducible in daily practice.”
If you didn’t manage to attend the course live, you can still register for on-demand access. You can also access free resources on the fetal cardiac on the Every Little Heart Matters page.
