Congress registration remained open until Tuesday 3 November 2020 23:59 GMT; delegates who registered after the Congress live dates (16-18 October) will have access to all the sessions and presentations on-demand until Tuesday 17 November 2020 23:59 GMT. Please note that CME is not available for on-demand viewing of the Congress.

 

Proof of status: Sonographer and trainee registrations will need to submit proof of their sonographer or trainee status at the time of registration in order to have access to the Congress. Please email your proof to [email protected] as soon as you register. If no proof can be obtained and provided with your registration, please register with the full registration fee instead.

In October 2021, some Congress content will be made available on ISUOG’s CME platform for ISUOG members to access on-demand. The selection of lectures made available will be at the discretion of, and on a timeline determined by, ISUOG’s Education Committee.

  • Membership: All registration fees include membership so as well as access to our high-quality program, your membership will be renewed for the year
  • CME/CPD: The ISUOG Virtual Congress has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®). Earn up to 23 European CME credits for your attendance at the live Congress event
  • Presenting and publishing: We are providing the opportunity to present and publish your research which is particularly important in a year with fewer scientific meetings
  • Networking opportunities: We will be creating networking opportunities online but also face-to-face (social distancing permitting) which will be organised through the platform
  • Wellbeing zone: This area will include professional development talks on burnout, stress, productivity, as well as activities such as yoga
  • Innovation updates: Access to the innovation area where you can get up-to-date with all the developments in technology and equipment you need to do your job

  • Currency: All fees are quoted in GBP (£). All registration payments should be made in pound sterling GBP (£).

Abstract submitter discount

Discount: Abstract submitters will benefit from a £50 discount off the applicable full registration fee. Discounts are not applicable to the reduced rates for low resource countries and to special registration code discounts. This discount cannot be used in conjunction with another discount. The abstract submitter discount is only valid until the abstract presenter registration deadline (17 August).

Before registering: Please submit your abstract(s) before registering; a discount code will be emailed to you at the end of the abstract submission process. Please use this code when registering to receive your discount.

Transferring registration: If you had already registered for the Glasgow Congress using the abstract discount code, your registration will be automatically transferred to the Virtual World Congress and the difference in registration fees refunded to you. The new fees for the Virtual Congress ensure that you will benefit from this registration transfer in all cases.

 

sonographers and trainees

Proof of status: All sonographers and trainees will need to submit proof of their sonographer or trainee status by way of a letter from their Department or Institution. The letter must be in English and dated within the last 3 months. The document can be uploaded at the time of registering or sent by email to [email protected].

Sonographer definition: A sonographer is a non-physician medical imaging professional who performs diagnostic medical sonography, or diagnostic ultrasound.

Trainee definition: A trainee is a medical professional who is not yet fully qualified or practicing without supervision within his or her chosen specialty and in accordance with the relevant national regulatory authorities.

Low resource country discount

ISUOG's mission is to disseminate the highest quality education to the broadest audience. To support this aim, we have ensured that attendees from low resource countries have the lowest registration fees. 

Eligible countries: ISUOG's low resource country list can be viewed here: Low resource countries list (Groups A and B). No other discounts can be used in conjunction with this rate.

Middle income country discount

ISUOG's mission is to disseminate the highest quality education to the broadest audience. To support this aim, we have ensured that attendees from middle income countries have access to reduced registration fees. 
 
Eligible countries: ISUOG has identified the following countries whose economies fall within the middle income category as defined by the World Bank. Delegates from these countries can qualify for the reduced middle income registration fees. Delegates from countries categorised as low resource (see Low resource countries list (Groups A and B)) can qualify for even greater discounts. No other discounts can be used in conjunction with this rate.

Membership entitlements 2020

Non-members: All non-members registering for the Congress will receive ISUOG basic membership for 12 months, starting approximately within one month from registration. When registering, you will have the opportunity to pay and upgrade your basic membership if you wish, to include a 12-month subscription to the Journal Ultrasound in Obstetric and Gynecology (UOG) either online (only) or hard copy print and online.

Members: Basic membership for 12 months is included in the Congress registration fee for current members who registered with a member discounted fee. Your current membership will renew automatically for another 12 months at the basic membership level; if you would like to upgrade your current or renewed membership to include Journal subscription (online only, or print and online), please log into your ISUOG membership account and select ‘Upgrade’

Registration cancellation ISUOG 2020

Cancellation of a registration must be communicated via email to [email protected] on or before 17 September 2020. Verbal changes and verbal cancellations are not accepted. There will be a £60 administration charge applied to the registration fee which will be deducted at the time of refund. Membership fees are non-refundable. Please note that the refund will be returned via the same payment method as the original receipt of funds. Substitutions of attendees can be made at any time and requested in writing. Refunds will not be given for virtual no-shows at the Congress.

Cancellations after 17 September 2020 will incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the registration fees.

Delegates registered for the 2020 Congress in Glasgow will be transferred to ISUOG’s 2020 Virtual Congress and the difference to their fees refunded. The new fees for the Virtual Congress ensure that already registered delegates will benefit from this registration transfer in all cases. Delegates who already registered for the 2020 Congress in Glasgow but cannot attend ISUOG’s 2020 Virtual Congress, should email [email protected] before 30 June 2020 to be refunded in full.  For cancellations received after that, the standard Congress cancellation policy will apply.

Any refunds outside our normal terms will only be reviewed and processed after the Congress.

Abstract book

If you purchased an abstract book with your registration, please note these will be mailed to the address you provided on your registration form; the abstract book will be mailed to you after the Congress, and should reach you by mid-November at the latest (beginnig of November for delegates based in UK/EU)
