The option to sponsor activities at the Congress is available to any exhibitor.

Please note that commercial support of educational activities in the USA must occur within the relevant FDA, OIG,

AMA and ACCME standards governing such activities and are continually monitored by CME authorities. ISUOG has to its best ability accounted for any known restrictions within the activities listed here however sponsoring companies are informed that entitlements are subject to adjustments as required in line with these regulations. ISUOG will inform third parties promptly of any such changes.

Note: Any educational activities undertaken by sponsors at the Congress venue for the benefit of ISUOG delegates are subject to approval of ISUOG.

The sponsorship activities listed below are subject to change in line with ISUOG’s Organising and Safety Committee requirements. Any changes will be notified to interested parties immediately.

Sponsorship levels

Key sponsorship status will be offered to companies according to their total sponsorship investment.

Diamond    £55,000 ($110,000) plus a minimum of 600 square feet exhibit*

Platinum    £35,000 ($70,000) plus a minimum of 500 square feet exhibit*

Gold            £20,000 ($40,000) plus a minimum of 400 square feet exhibit*

Silver         £10,000 ($20,000) plus a minimum of 300 square feet exhibit*

Bronze      £5,000 ($10,000) plus a minimum of 200 square feet exhibit*

* total sponsorship spend is calculated excluding exhibition space costs

Key sponsors’ entitlements

In addition to the entitlements of the individual sponsorship items, key sponsors will receive the following:

Diamond

  • Priority option on all sponsorship activities (provided booking confirmed by early booking deadline)

° Under CME guidelines free scientific registration may only be offered to company representatives and not to independently attending delegates.

Sponsorship opportunities

1.     SOLD     Lakeview Terrace                                                                                             
Sole sponsorship for the entire Congress: £25,000 ($50,000) 
Size: 15,355 square feet (1426 square metres)

The Lakeview Terrace is a large glass walled walk through space (with pillars) that links the main session hall (Grand Ballroom) and the exhibition area. All delegates will need to walk through this area to access the main session hall so this offers a fantastic opportunity for exposure. This Terrace (or parts of it) may be hired for advertising, promotional activities, hospitality and catering, private appointments or general entertainment but not for exhibition of goods, educational activities or live scanning. Activities arranged in this area must be approved by ISUOG in advance of the Congress.

NB: activities are limited to areas outside fixed walkways and fire exits according to health and safety regulations

2.             Satellite Education Areas #

                Cost: £12,000 ($24,000) per day

               Size: 2,420 square feet (224 square metres), capacity of 230 people theatre style

               Rooms: 324, 327

             

               Cost: £12,000 ($24,000) per day

              Size: 2,365 square feet (220 square metres), capacity of 177 people theatre style

              Room: 328

Sponsors have the opportunity to hold educational seminars, live demonstrations, hospitality or other pre approved events in exclusive areas. Pre-approved activities may take place throughout the day, and be advertised by the sponsor to delegates.

N.B.: Sponsors wishing to organise educational activities may do so only by special arrangement with ISUOG and must provide detailed programs in advance. Sponsors will be responsible for all associated technical costs, electrical, bedding etc as well as the sponsorship fee. Independent courses do not form part of the CME scientific program.

  • Sponsors will need to source their own live scan models where required.

  • Option to arrange independent educational seminars

3.            Hospitality and live scanning suites (Mon 25–Thu 28 August) #

                Cost: £6,000 ($12,000) full day (09.00–17.00)

               Size: Approx 1000 square feet (93 square metres), capacity of 110 theatre style

                Rooms: 202, 204, 206


Free build:

There is also the option to build your own hospitality room within the exhibition hall, although please note that the room must stay in place for the entire event. Please detail your ideal room size on the booking form. This must be booked by the early booking deadline to ensure space is made available.

Cost: £2,500 ($5,000) per 100 square feet (min 500 square feet) plus build costs for 3.5 days

Sponsors have the opportunity to demonstrate their equipment to delegate groups and/or to host clients.

Please note:

  • ISUOG must be fully informed of planned activities for these areas in advance. Openly advertised scanning activities may only take place during scheduled break times, although sponsors may host clients throughout the day.
  • Live scanning is not permitted on the exhibition stands.
  • Room reservation is only available to companies participating in the exhibition. Priority allocation of rooms will be given to key sponsors and then on a first-paid basis.
  • Sponsors will need to source their own live scan models for their hospitality rooms. Sponsors will be responsible for all associated technical costs, electrical, bedding etc as well as the sponsorship fee

Entitlements include:

  • Use of room
  • Opportunity to demonstrate equipment through live scan sessions
  • Acknowledgement and session listing in final program
  • Room signage

4.            Congress party

                Cost: £2,500 ($5,000) minimum contribution

The Congress party will take place on Tuesday 26 August 2007 in the Navy Pier Grand Ballroom and is open to all delegates, exhibitors and accompanying persons. In order to encourage broader participation in this social and networking opportunity we are opening this up to multiple sponsors. Sponsors may choose to support a particular activity during the evening, such as a bar area or food station or just contribute to our overall costs.

Entitlements include:

  • Acknowledgement on any directional signage
  • Branding of bar / food station where appropriate
  • 10 complimentary tickets for sponsoring company guests
  • Acknowledgement on party invitation
  • Acknowledgement in final program

5.           PowerPoint posters

               Cost: £10,000 ($20,000) to brand all poster sessions and internet access page if available

               Oral Poster sessions

               Cost: £7,000 ($14,000) for 4 days (all sessions)

Companies may provide unrestricted educational grants to support daily oral poster sessions (3 to 6 per day), both running on rolling loop presentations throughout the day and during chaired discussions.

Entitlements include:

  • Acknowledgement in final program
  • Acknowledgement on Congress website
  • Holding slide with company name at the beginning and end of rolling presentations
  • Acknowledgement by session chairperson

Poster sessions

                Cost: £4,000 ($8,000) for 4 days (all sessions)

Companies may provide unrestricted educational grants to support daily poster viewing sessions (3 to 6 per day).

Entitlements include:

  • Acknowledgement in final program
  • Acknowledgement on Congress website
  • Holding slide with company name at the beginning of sessions

 6.       SOLD Satellite Symposia (Mon 25–Thu 28 August) #
           Cost: £7,500 ($15,000) per symposium

Companies will have the opportunity to hold one-hour lunchtime symposium or evening reception and may arrange their own speakers and program.

N.B.: Satellite symposia do not form part of the CME Scientific Program, the World Congress and ISUOG are not responsible for the content of these sessions. Sponsors must announce this at the start of the session to comply with CME requirements. Priority allocation of satellites will be given to key sponsors and then on a first-paid first-served basis.


7.            SOLD  
Welcome reception 
                Cost: £7,500 ($15,000)

Over 1,000 delegates are expected to attend the Welcome reception on Sunday 24 August. Event catering and entertainment will be provided by ISUOG,


8.            Delegate briefcases

                Cost: £5,000 ($10,000) plus cost of bags

Every delegate receives a bag containing the final program, abstract book, notepad, pen, and any other giveaways and exhibit and sponsors advertising materials. Companies have the opportunity to place their logo on all distributed bags.

9.            SOLD   Abstract book 
                 Cost: £7,500 ($15,000) for sole sponsorship

The abstract book will be circulated to all delegates and will contain the congress program and all accepted abstracts (both oral and posters).

 

10.          SOLD   Internet café 
                 Cost: £7,500 ($15,000) plus equipment for exclusive rights to internet café

The right to host an Internet café is available to any exhibiting company that wishes to set up, resource and furnish the facility.

 

11.          Meet the professor breakfast sessions

                Cost: £5,000 ($10,000) (Monday 25 – Thursday 28 August)

Companies may provide unrestricted educational grants to support the Meet the Professor breakfast sessions.

Entitlements include:

  • Sole sponsorship
  • Acknowledgment in final program
  • Signage opportunities in breakfast catering area

12.          Registration area

                Cost: £5,000 ($10,000)

Exclusive sponsorship of the registration area online and onsite

Entitlements include:

  • Link to your company website on the online delegate registration page
  • One banner in the on-site registration area

13.         Opening plenary lecture

                Cost: £5,000 ($10,000)

With only two hours of plenary session time during the Congress, this is a unique opportunity with all delegates in the one session hall. The session will include a keynote multimedia presentation by the internationally acclaimed gynecological oncologist and humanitarian from Brown University, Dr. Skip Granai.

Entitlements include:

  • Acknowledgment in final program
  • Holding slide with company name at the beginning and end of the session
  • Acknowledgement by the session chairperson
  • Unlimited entry to the session to sponsoring company staff

14.          Pre-Congress courses

                Cost: £4,000 ($8,000) per one day course

                £2,500 ($5,000) per half day course

Plus speaker costs where applicable

Companies may provide unrestricted educational grants to support courses on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August.

Entitlements include:

  • Sole sponsorship (allocated on a first come, first served basis)
  • Holding slide in session hall with company name prior to and after session.
  • Table top exhibit space within the course location
  • Acknowledgement by course chairperson
  • Acknowledgement in final program
  • Sponsor’s equipment to be used where applicable
  • Logo on Congress website
  • Logo on course syllabus

The ISUOG courses available for sponsorship are:

One day (Saturday 23rd August)
- Course 1: Differential diagnosis
- Course 2: Reproductive medicine and infertility     SOLD
- Course 3: Fetal echocardiography                             SOLD

Half day (Sunday 24th August)
- Course 4: Obstetrics Just Images
- Course 5: Gynecology Just Images
- Course 6: Nuchal Translucency

NB: Please see program pages online for further details. Courses will take place at the InterContinental Chicago, please note that this is not the Congress venue.



15.          Live scan demonstration sessions (Mon 25–Thu 28 August)

                Cost: £3,500 ($7,000) per demonstration

Demonstration sessions are scientific sessions which are defined by ISUOG but include live scan demonstration of a particular examination technique or technology. Companies may provide unrestricted educational grants to support these sessions and will be asked to provide their equipment for use during the demonstration. Sessions requiring support can be seen in the provisional program.

N.B. Priority allocation of demonstration sessions will be given to key sponsors and then on a first-paid first-served basis. Live scan demonstrations are offered in two main session halls in different locations and sponsors are responsible for ensuring equipment availability accordingly at least 2 hours prior to the session.

Entitlements include:

  • Acknowledgment in final program
  • Use of manufacturer’s equipment for live demonstration
  • All audio visual equipment
  • Acknowledgement by session chairperson
  • Holding slide with company name prior to/after session

16.          SOLD   Bottled water 
                Cost: £3,500 ($7,000) plus production costs

17.           Directional signage

                 Cost: £3,500 ($7,000)

Entitlements include:

  • Company logo on directional signage throughout the venue for duration of Congress

18.          SOLD   Pocket program 
                Cost: £3,000 ($6,000)

The pocket program will contain the program at a glance and map of the meeting rooms.

19.          Online button ads

                Cost: £2,500 ($5,000)

Advertising on the Congress website will ensure that everyone who visits the Congress website will know of your company’s involvement. As abstracts will be submitted online, together with the majority of delegate registrations, sponsors will receive excellent exposure.

Entitlements include:

  • Sponsor button to appear on home page of Congress website
  • Link to company website

20.         Speaker preparation room

                Cost: £2,500 ($5,000) (Sunday 24 – Thursday 28 August)

All speakers at the Congress will need to check in at the speaker preparation room

Entitlements include:

  • Acknowledgement in final program
  • Logo on room signage
  • Company holding slide on room computers

21.          Sponsored bar

                Cost: £2,000 ($4,000) plus bar costs (Monday 25 – Thursday 28 August)

Entitlements include:

  • Acknowledgement in final program
  • Branding of area

24.         Catering breaks

                Cost: £2,000 ($4,000)

Entitlements include:

  • Opportunity to provide branded napkins or other catering materials (at your cost)

25.          Joining instructions

                Cost: £1,000 ($2,000)

Inclusion of your company logo on the joining instructions, sent to all registered delegates prior to the event.



26.          SOLD   Pens and notepads 
                Cost: Provided in Kind

Available to key sponsors only – priority given to diamond and platinum sponsors
