The Hamburg Ballet will perform excerpts from Yondering, a ballet by John Neumeier inspired by the songs of the 19th century American composer Stephen Foster. Yondering refers to an early American expression for the act of crossing the frontier and wandering into an unknown adventure, and the success of this ballet depends on an enthusiastic and energetic performance by the dancers. The performance will last approximately 30 minutes, and will be followed by the welcome reception in the exhibition hall.
