Educational goals:

The event is to improve the imaging standards in the country and to bring about uniformity in basic imaging and advanced imaging in obstetrics, particularly fetal heart and fetal CNS.

Prof. Dario Paladini is currently the Head of the Fetal Medicine and Surgery Unit at G. Gaslini Children's Hospital in Genova, Italy.
 
Prof Paladini has  had several roles in ISUOG over the years: Education committee chair and member, Course co-chair, Board member, member of the Outreach committee, nomination committee, CSC committee, Fetal heart task force, CNS guidelines task force (chair). He was awarded the Stuart Campbell Award in 2011 and he is now Chair of the Stuart Campbell award committee.
Prof. Paladini has published > 200 original papers in high IF peer-review journals and led and was involved in hundreds of training courses and congresses worldwide.

Dr Michael Brusilov is a senior staff member at the Division of Ultrasound in OB-GYN at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center in Israel, fully dedicated to advise and provide second opinion consultations mainly in the field of fetal cardiology and neurology; and to train residents and staff on these fields. Born in Uzbekistan, he is fluent in Russian and has participated actively in the organization of meetings and courses in all the Russian speaking countries. 
He is also Senior invited speaker and trainer at the yearly Fetal Neurosonography Masterclases in Israel, an annual ISUOG approved course.

Associate Professor Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Baylor College of Medicine

Dr Sanz Cortes current academic position is in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine (Houston, Texas), as an Associate Professor.  She is a fetal surgeon at Texas Children's Hospital providing care for patients who receive any fetal intervention from the time of pre-surgical evaluation, surgery and until delivery. Part of her clinical care is also dedicated to the management of the fetal neurosonology clinic at the same center.  She is also very invested in multiple research projects related to fetal conditions that require utero therapy from a multidisciplinary approach and with particular emphasis on advanced imaging techniques.  She is passionate about research mentorship, education, development of biomedical devices and innovation.  One of the main focus of her research has been dedicated to understanding the effects of fetal spina bifida repair and its minimally invasive approach, leading initiatives such as the International Consortium for Fetoscopic Myelomeningocele Repair.  

Other current affiliations that she holds are:  Member of the Steering Committee of Texas Children's Hospital Fetal Center, Steering Committee of the North American Fetal Therapy Network, Scientific Committee of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG), part of the Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Prenatal Diagnosis journal editorial boards.

Dr S.Suresh is the Managing Director of Mediscan Systems a tertiary referral centre for Fetal Medicine in India. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of O&G London (honoriscausa) and is actively involved in training over 4000 physicians from India and other countries in Ultrasound and Fetal Medicine for over 35 years. He has several publications to his credit and is involved in various Research projects in Fetal Medicine. He has set up the Birth Defects Registry of India which is recognized as a subnational registry by the WHO. He is the managing Trustee of Fetal Care Research Foundation a Charity organisation that aims to provide access to treatment options for the underprivileged. He is a recipient of several awards and was one of the earliest to set up a Fetoscopic surgical service in India.

He is a visiting Prof in Perinatology at the Sri Ramachandra Medical University and the Chief functionary of the Voluntary Health Services, a charitable hospital in Chennai which aims to achieve affordable quality health care for all .
