Creating a more engaged professional community is an important part of our role as a membership organisation. So, we’ve launched an online networking platform, hosted on Guild, to help you connect with your professional peers.

Guild is designed to help you to interact with your community, share knowledge and build relationships – all from your mobile device. There are closed special interest groups where members can have more thoughtful and in-depth conversations on specific topics of interest. It’s very easy to use and you can dip in and out and manage notifications to suit you.

How to join a group

Please follow the steps below to create your profile, join a group and introduce yourself to the group.

Step one:

Creating your profile is simple and takes a couple of minutes - either download the Guild mobile app or use the desktop link below and follow the instructions to join. You will need a photo to upload.

If you are joining on your mobile device, please download the app first. Either from the App Store or Google Play. If you are joining on a desktop computer, create your profile first here.

Step two:

From the options below click on the groups you would like to join.

Fetal growth
Fetal heart, CHD and cardiac functions
Pregnancy complications

Step three:

Introduce yourself to the group! Go to ‘My Groups’ and click on the group you have joined'. Press on the pinned thread ‘Welcome  - Post a little bit about yourself’ and tell the group who you are.

Step four:

Feel free to start a new conversation, ask for advice, share helpful resources. If you would like to directly message another member, just press the ‘member’ button on the header image of the group, search for a member, click on their profile and press ‘direct message’.

We appreciate you might not want to be notified of all activity within the community. You can manage your notification settings by pressing the ‘notification’ option on the left of your screen on a desktop, or pressing the menu top left on a mobile – then press settings (cog symbol top right).
