Two pre-Congress courses already confirmed for the ISUOG World Congress 2024

The plans for this year’s World Congress are well underway and it will be here before you know it. For those planning to join their professional peers in Budapest, additional courses will be offered on the Saturday before the main event.

The pre-Congress courses offer you the chance to enrich your experience at the upcoming main congress event, optimising your time away from practice and providing an opportunity for an in-depth exploration of a specific ultrasound topic. Like the main program, these courses are led by distinguished experts in their field. The two confirmed courses are:

Sonography for ovarian and deep endometriosis - knowledge is power: Co-chairs: Gernot Hudelist and Thierry Van den Bosch

  • Pre-surgical risk evaluation
  • Surgery for deep endometriosis
  • Inter-society consensus for non-invasive imaging and classification of deep endometriosis

Fetal focus: expert approaches to heart and brain imaging: Co-chairs: Rabih Chaoui, Sándor Nagy, Daniela Prayer and Jezid Miranda

  • Anomalies of cardiac chambers
  • Anomalies of the great vessels
  • Conducting an ultrasound evaluation of fetal heart and brain
  • Latest developments in brain imaging

The full-day pre-Congress courses will run on Saturday 14 September, at the Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Centre, Hungary.
