Last weekend, over 500 delegates from 70 countries took part in our educational activities at our 14th International Symposium in Athens, either onsite or via live stream. We would like to thank all participants, faculty, our live streaming satellites and the Hellenic Society of Obstetric and Gynecologic Emergency for contributing to this event!

We are very honoured that Andreas Xanthos, Minister of Health for Greece, was present to open the 14th ISUOG International Symposium.

Over 200 delegates attended the ISUOG Basic Training course on Friday 20th April, before the opening ceremony and plenary lectures. There were almost 100 delegates from over 33 countries onsite for our Basic Training course: “Approach to a Comprehensive Obstetrical Scan”. During this course, we heard from prominent speakers such as Prof. Laurent Salomon, Dr Katia Bilardo and Mr Aris Papageorghiou. In addition to our onsite delegates, we were joined by over 100 live streaming participants via satellites from the following locations:
• Pleven, Bulgaria 
• Alexandria, Egypt 
• Zagazig, Egypt
• Sagamu, Nigeria
• Khartoum, Sudan

The ISUOG Fetal Anomalies course took place on Saturday 21st April, providing delegates with a state-of-the-art update on both common and rare malformations from leading experts in the field such as Dr Gustavo Malinger, Dr Caterina Bilardo, Prof. Laurent Salomon and Dr Julene Carvalho. Highlights from the final day of the symposium on included hearing from Prof. Tom Bourne and Prof. Lil Valentin at the IOTA Course: Classifying Ovarian Pathology Using Iota Rules & the Adnex Model.
