All faculty will be asked to respond to our faculty consent form. This form relates to the use of your content (presentation, slides, video recording etc.) during and after the event.

Use of your Content at the Event

So that we can facilitate you speaking and sharing your Content at the Event, we ask that you give us permission to use your Content on the terms set out below:

  1. We will use your Content for the following Purpose:
    1. to improve women’s health through the provision, advancement and dissemination of the highest quality education, standards and research information around ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology through the delivery of this Event;
    2. to promote this Event, including on our website, social media channels and publications; and
    3. to facilitate this Event by sharing it with attendees on a screen at a physical location if offered, and/or via video link for those attending virtually.
  2. You will remain the owner of copyright in the Content.
  3. You give us permission to use, copy, publish and share all or any part of the Content in any format in any part of the world for this Purpose.  You cannot revoke this permission.
  4. We will acknowledge the Authors of the Content in a reasonably clear and prominent way whenever we use the Content.
  5. ISUOG events are designed to reach the widest possible audience in order to have a lasting impact on women’s health.  To this end we are committed to offering inclusive and accessible content so we may wish to modify the Content as we see fit.  We will demonstrate excellence, integrity and respect whilst making changes, and make reasonable efforts to get your approval of any changes before we use modified content.  Modifications may include (without limitation) adding a transcript or sub-titles, editing it into shorter clips, translating it into different languages and altering the format.  You give us permission to make changes to the Content for this end.
  6. The rights you give us to use the Content are not exclusive – this means that you can give the same rights to other people or organisations.

Use of your Content after the Event

ISUOG education underpins the long term vision for every woman in the world to have access to ultrasound with a competent scan provider and that the diagnosis of obstetric and gynecologic conditions is effective.  We rely on the charitable donations of content from experts in the field to support the delivery this Education to learners across the world so that women’s health outcomes improve.  So that we can use your Content to further knowledge and foster excellence in the field of ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology through our education, we ask that you give us permission to use the Content on the terms set out below:

  1. We will use the Content for the following Purpose:
    1. to improve women’s health through the provision, advancement and dissemination of the highest quality education, standards and research information around ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology through the delivery of this Education;
    2. to make this Content available on an ‘on demand’ basis for those attending the Event; and
    3. by using the content on our education platform for non-commercial and commercial training; which may also be delivered by carefully selected third parties we licence the Content to, if it can further support our charitable mission and vision.
  2. You will remain the owner of copyright in the Content.
  3. You give us permission to use, copy, publish and share all or any part of the Content in any format in any part of the world for the Purpose.    
  4. We will acknowledge the Authors of the Content in a reasonably clear and prominent way whenever we use the Content, and will ensure that anyone we license the Content to does the same.
  5. ISUOG Education is designed to reach the widest possible audience in order to have a lasting impact on women’s health.  To this end we are committed to offering inclusive and accessible content so we may wish to modify the Content as we see fit.  We will demonstrate excellence, integrity and respect whilst making changes, and make reasonable efforts to get your approval of any changes before we use modified content.  Modifications may include (without limitation) adding a transcript or sub-titles, editing it into shorter clips, translating it into different languages, and altering the format to interactive eLearning.  You give us permission to make changes to the Content for this end.
  6. The rights you give us to use the Content are not exclusive – this means that you can give the same rights to other people or organisations.
  7. We may give third parties the same rights to use the Content as you have given to us, without obtaining separate permission from you, in order to further support our charitable mission and vision.
  8. We are not obliged to use the Content, and we may choose not to use it.

Our requirements for the Content

In order for ISUOG’s core values of excellence, integrity, respect, inclusiveness and passion to be demonstrated, we need to be sure that we are not breaching any laws or anyone else’s rights when we use your Content, so you will be asked to respond to the statements below when accepting your invitation.  If you are unsure about any of the statements, please let us know so that we can discuss this before you respond.

Please read the presentation content statements below:

  • I either own the Content or I have permission to use it (and to allow ISUOG to use it) for the Purposes set out in this form.  This includes images, research, data, concepts, text, video, audio, and anything else that appears in the Content.
  • The Content adheres to data protection and patient confidentiality guidelines.  In particular, if any information about individuals is included in the Content (for example personal details, descriptions, case studies, biographies, photographs, etc.) I either have a lawful basis to use that information in the Content, or the information has been anonymised so that the individual cannot be identified.
  • If there is any unpublished data in my presentation, this fact will be clearly highlighted.
  • If there are any trade marks in the Content (for example brands, logos or names) these are either owned by me or I have permission from the owner to include them in the Content.  If there are no trademarks included in the Content, tick ‘yes’.
  • To the best of my knowledge, nothing in the Content is inaccurate, misleading, offensive, unlawful or in any way risks damage to ISUOG’s reputation.
  • ISUOG will not be breaching anyone else’s rights by using the Content for the Purposes set out in this form.
  • There is no person who has a right to be acknowledged as an author of the Content, other than the Authors listed in this form.

Please note: If you answer no or do not agree to any of the above, ISUOG will notify the organising committee who reserve the right to withdraw the Content from the event and/or withdraw your invitation to speak at the Event.
