ISUOG Outreach is proud to be an ally of the World Health Organisation and PMNCH (the Partnership for Maternal and New born Child Health) in its joint efforts to improve global women’s health. To celebrate World Health Day tomorrow, we are excited to announce one of our recent partnerships with the WHO during the ACTION Trials, a multi-site randomized trial of antenatal corticosteroid use for women at risk of imminent preterm birth in hospitals in low-resource countries.

Two of ISUOG Outreach’s Volunteers (Dr. Sandy Maranna of Australia and Dr. Lynn Coppola of the USA) took part in both representing ISUOG Outreach and providing the vital training for the project. Read our blog to understand more about the work straight from the volunteers on the field.

We are also celebrating the tenth year of ISUOG Outreach! In this time, we’ve led 8 programs in 9 countries. Support the essential training provided by Outreach - donate today!
