“I am an academic specialist in Obstetrics and Maternal Fetal Medicine, devoted to improving maternal and fetal health with the use of ultrasound.As a Trustee for ISUOG, I can leverage a wider platform to realise my goal of improving obstetric care and ultrasound standards worldwide, through clinical research, education and advocacy.
There is currently a shortage of opportunities for standardised training in the field in many parts of Asia. I believe ISUOG will have a significant role in providing high-quality education in ultrasound and research. Together with the help of regional ambassadors, I anticipate that membership in Asia will increase dramatically in the next 3 years, with the aim to host the World Congress in China in the future. Leveraging my position within the FIGO NCD and Pregnancy Committee, I would also like to encourage collaboration with FIGO in order to make ultrasound accessible to all women.”
