The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a country where tradition and contemporary innovation come together to create an unique national character. Developed around the Islamic culture and guided by principles of hospitality and variety, the UAE has evolved into a diverse society with a strong focus on education, innovation, and international cooperation.

Its cities showcase modern design and global influence, while traditions remain an integral part of daily life. Known for its welcoming atmosphere and cultural awareness, the UAE provides a setting that facilitate connection, learning, and the exchange of ideas among people from around the world.

Getting to Dubai

Dubai is the most accessible city in the UAE, with Dubai International Airport (DXB) connecting flights from almost anywhere in the world due to its status as a major aviation hub. From the airport to the city you can choose between various taxi services operating 24/7 or the efficient Dubai Metro for a fast and cost-effective journey into the heart of the city.

Visas

It is your own responsibility to check and fulfil any visa requirements for entry into the UAE (and for any other countries that you stop at on the way to the UAE). ISUOG strongly advises that attendees only register for the World Congress once they are confident that they can legally enter the country or will be able to obtain a visa in time to do so. Refunds will not be provided to those who have not allowed enough time to have their visa approved, or have their visa rejected. The official website of the United Arab Emirates contains information on all visa requirements for entry. Please note that ISUOG does not assume responsibility for the accuracy of this link, and does not claim liability if any information is found to be incorrect. All registered delegates can download a visa letter from ISUOG by clicking the link in their registration confirmation email.
