Who should attend this event?

This course has been developed specifically for attendees based in low-resource settings. The event is for individuals who are interested in learning about ultrasound imaging for improving women’s health. Specifically, professionals who will find the event program relevant may be: obstetricians, gynecologists, sonographers, trainees, doctors, maternal fetal medicine specialists (MFMs), radiologists, residents, researchers, geneticists, midwives, nurses, consultants and other women’s health and maternity care professionals.
 
Registration and access to this event is only possible for those currently residing and working in low-resource settings, as defined by research4life, plus South Africa and Iran. ISUOG is unable to make any exceptions in this regard. The full list of 126 eligible territories can be found below.

How much is this course?

This event is free to attend for those currently residing and working in low-resource countries, as defined by research4life, South Africa and Iran. Those based in other territories cannot register for or access this event. ISUOG is unable to make any exceptions in this regard.

Is this event online or in person?

This event is online only via a livestreaming platform. The recording will be available to watch on demand for six (6) months until 24 July 2026 at 23:59 BST.

Will I be able to claim CME credits?

No. Unfortunately, this event is not accredited and therefore does not offer CME credits.
 
However, we are pleased to announce that certificates of attendance for Ultrasound Essentials will be offered this year, for the first time. These will only be available to delegates who register before the live event. These attendees will receive an email after the event containing a link to the post-event evaluation survey. Upon completion of the survey, they will be redirected to a webpage to download a certificate of attendance.
 
Please note that, as this event is not accredited, these certificates of attendance cannot be used to claim CME credits. You can find CME opportunities on the Academy through our online courses and activities by becoming an ISUOG member.

What equipment is needed to attend the event?

To attend this online course, all you need is a device (computer, laptop, or mobile) and a strong internet connection to stream the video live. Ultrasound devices or any other such equipment are not required.
