The VISUOG Sub-Committee is responsible for the development and expansion of VISUOG, ISUOG's visual encyclopedia, which aims to provide medical professionals with up-to-date information on the clinical use of ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology.

Nimrah Abbasi completed her medical school and residency training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at McGill University, followed by a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal-Medicine at the University of Toronto and has recently completed a MSc. degree at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto, in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety. Nimrah is currently practicing as a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist at the Ontario Fetal Center (Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, Canada) with a focus on fetal medicine and fetal intervention. Her research and clinical interests centre on improving standardization and quality assurance in obstetrical ultrasound, with a specific research focus in fetal lung pathology, monochorionic twins, early detection of fetal anomalies and simulation to enhance training in fetal therapy. Nimrah has been involved in several local and internal outreach projects to improve access and standards in women’s imaging, and has previously worked with the ISUOG Outreach Program.

Ms Alison Deslandes is a specialist obstetric and gynaecological sonographer, clinical researcher and educator based in Adelaide, Australia. She is a PhD candidate at Adelaide University with the Adelaide Endometriosis Research Group. Her thesis focuses on improving the non-invasive diagnosis of endometriosis through advanced ultrasound, artificial intelligence and innovative approaches to sonographer education. She holds a Master’s degree from the University of South Australia.
Alison’s clinical and research interests include endometriosis and adenomyosis imaging, adolescent gynaecology, advanced transvaginal ultrasound, artificial intelligence in medical imaging, and education and quality improvement in sonography. She is a former President of the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) and continues to serve as a Director on the ASUM Board. She is an active researcher, author and invited speaker, and has presented at many international meetings on endometriosis imaging, gynaecological ultrasound and the application of artificial intelligence in women’s imaging.

Dr. Karen Ng is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and the Head of the Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology (PAG) Team at the Prince of Wales Hospital, alongside her role as an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Having completed her subspecialty training in Reproductive Medicine, Dr. Ng's clinical and research interests encompass infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), reproductive endocrinology, fertility preservation, and congenital Mullerian anomalies. She played a pioneering role in establishing Hong Kong's first multidisciplinary paediatric gynecology clinic and fertility preservation program for young patients.
Internationally, Dr. Ng is deeply active within the global O&G global O&G and ultrasound community. She holds prominent leadership positions as the President of the Asia Oceania Society of Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology (AOSPAG) and as Board Member and Secretary General of the International Federation of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (FIGIJ). Dedicated to medical education and clinical governance, she is also an active examiner for international fellowship and college examinations, and contributes extensively to peer-reviewed literature and international scientific congresses.
Iran and the UK. Dr Piri has been a member of ISUOG Outreach team for the phase 2 of Oman Outreach
program in 2019 and has continued to be ISUOG's virtual mentor for Oman and Egypt since then. Dr Piri has been the Director of ISUOG's Iranian Translation Team for COVID-19 resources and ISUOG Practice Guidelines, which have had over 40,000 reads. At the moment she is the Ambassador of ISUOG in Middle East and North Africa, and a member of basic training and patient information leaflets subcommittees of ISUOG. She has been the director of her Fetal Medicine Practice in Tehran since 2009.

Dr. Nguyen T Ha is currently the Director of Fetal Medicine Center at Tam Anh hospital in Ho Chi Minh City. She is also the Primary Vice President of HCMC Society for Maternal and Fetal Medicine (HSMFM) and Vice President of Vietnamese Society of Ultrasound in Medicine (VSUM). Her special interests are Prenatal Diagnosis of fetal structural anomalies, Neurosonography, Twins and Fetal Growth Restriction. She is the first sonologist doctor to do CVS in Vietnam. As a pioneer in the first trimester screening and diagnosis of chromosomal abnormality, managing fetal structural abnormalities and high-risk pregnancy, Dr. Ha has contributed to building up the standard prenatal care in Vietnam as well as trained thousands of Vietnamese doctors in OBGYN Ultrasound and fetal medicine.

Dr Huijing Zhang is an obstetrician and gynaecologist with a special interest in maternal–fetal medicine and prenatal ultrasound diagnosis. She is currently based at Gosford Hospital, New South Wales, Australia.
She completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Peking University First Hospital, China, followed by a two-year clinical fellowship at the Fetal Medicine Foundation in London, UK, where she obtained the Diploma in Fetal Medicine. She subsequently undertook further training in fetal medicine at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, Australia.
Her clinical and research interests include prenatal diagnosis of fetal structural abnormalities, first-trimester screening, fetal echocardiography, and prediction of spontaneous preterm birth.

Dr. Lina Youssef is a specialist and postdoctoral researcher in Maternal Fetal Medicine in BCNatal – Fetal Medicine Research Center, IDIBAPS, Hospital Clinic and Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, Barcelona, Spain. Her special interests are preeclampsia and fetal growth restriction focusing on Ultrasound, Doppler and biomarkers. She holds an International joint PhD degree with distinction from three European Universities (University of Barcelona, Lund University and Leuven University). She holds also a Diploma in biostatistics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
Lina is the scientific coordinator of the Master’s program in Maternal-Fetal Medicine in Fetal Medicine Barcelona Foundation in collaboration with the University of Barcelona. She has been involved in ISUOG activities since 2017 as a young ambassador, content reviewer and a member of Online Education Subcommittee. Lina also serves on a regular basis as an expert reviewer for the Spanish National Health Authority as well as for international research projects. She participates regularly as a speaker in international courses and congresses.
