ISUOG is looking for Authors for our online resource, VISUOG.
VISUOG is ISUOG’s online visual encyclopaedia and aims to provide medical professionals with up to date information on the clinical use of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology. The focus is on images as the cornerstone for accurate sonographic diagnoses and content online includes relevant technical and clinical indications. The VISUOG Task Force exists to manage and monitor the creation of content and quality control content prior to upload to the VISUOG platform.
We are currenty recruiting volunteer Authors for the following new VISUOG sections:
- Multiple Pregnancy
- Pelvic Floor Ultrasound
- Intrapartum Ultrasound
- Infertility
- Ultrasound guided procedures
If you are an Obstetrician or Gynecologist with experience in ultrasound investigation, clinical management, research, and scientific writing, please apply for following role:
Authors
Authors will have one month to submit their chapter draft to the Section Editor. Following this they will given two weeks to work with the Section Editor on amendments and should deliver the final chapter by the end of the second month. Each VISUOG chapter has 4 parts: abstract, full text, PowerPoint presentation with images/video, and a patient information sheet. Selected authors will receive detailed instructions once they are assigned a chapter.
