Welcome reception

Celebrate the first day of Congress, re-connect with old friends, meet new friends and network with industry partners at our welcome reception. This is for free of charge for all badge holders and will include alcoholic and soft drinks, and snacks.

Cost: Ticket prices and booking information will be confirmed soon when registration for the Congress opens. Availability is limited for this event so it is recommended to purchase your ticket with your registration.

Experience the vibrant ambiance of Akvárium Klub as the venue for the ISUOG World Congress Party! Nestled in the heart of Budapest, Akvárium Klub offers the perfect backdrop for networking, socializing, and celebrating amidst the excitement of the congress. Join us in this industrial, chic venue for a 3-course buffet meal, drinks package including soft drinks, beer and wine, and live entertainment. Head to the dance floor, or explore other areas of the club, including an outdoor terrace.

Please note: this event is an informal party, not a seated gala dinner. Although some seating will be available, we kindly encourage our guests to explore the venue, mingle, and take in the live music performances.

Terms & conditions

All guests must bring their Congress badge as their ticket for the party. Guests should show their badge upon arrival to receive a wristband for entry to the venue.
The Akvarium Klub will conduct bag checks upon entry. All large bags, coats, umbrellas etc. MUST be checked-in to the Akvarium cloakroom (complimentary). The cloakroom ticket entitles visitors to place their belongings for the duration of the evening. If guests wish to remove items to leave the premises for a short period (e.g. to access the terrrace area), they will be permitted to check these items again when re-entering the venue.
Guests may be asked to show personal ID to verify your age when being served alcohol.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the Akvárium Klub, but is permitted in the outdoor terrace area.

Akvarium security personnel hold the right to remove anyone causing disruption to the party.
High-performance lighting and sound equipment are installed within the premises of the Akvárium Klub and visitors shall solely enter the premises at their own risk.
Visitors shall be fully liable, both in terms of civil and criminal law, for any damages caused within the premises of Akvárium Klub by themselves.
