Read the information below to learn more about accreditation of the scientific program at the ISUOG World Congress 2026, and how to claim your CME/CPD points.
All in-person registered delegates who attend the Congress and complete a post-event evaluation survey by the deadline, will receive a certificate of attendance.
- The Congress has been accredited by the EACCME® for maximum 21.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s), details for which are listed below
- The Congress has been accredited by Sonography Canada, details for which are listed below
Please note that only in-person registered delegates will be able to claim CME credits, as the Congress has been accredited for in-person only. Virtual registered delegates will obtain a general ISUOG cerificate of attendance.
How do I obtain and complete my certificate of attendance?
All in-person delegates will receive an online evaluation form by email (at the same email address you used to register for the Congress), after the live Congress has taken place. On completion of this online evaluation, delegates will be redirected to a page where they can complete a fillable PDF certificate with their name and number of credits claimed. We encourage all delegates to then download/save/print the certificate immediately, as they will not be able to revisit the page after navigating away from it. This certificate can then be used to self-certify and claim CME points. Please note, the above will need to be done by a deadline, to obtain an accredited certificate. After this point, delegates will not be able to do the online evaluation form or obtain an accredited certificate, but may still contact [email protected] for a general ISUOG certificate of attendance instead.
How will I know my CME points?
Each medical specialist should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the live educational activity. All accreditation will be available for live viewing of sessions (not on-demand).
EACCME
The Congress has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) for a maximum of 21.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s).
Each medical specialist should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. All accreditation will be available for live viewing of sessions (not on-demand).
Conversion of EACCME credits
Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credits to AMA credits can be found at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications. Live educational activities occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC® credits are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Credit will be converted based on one (1) hour of participation equalling one credit for all activities. Physicians wishing to convert EACCME® credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ will be required to access the AMA website at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications to obtain the necessary paperwork and instructions. Physicians and other health care professionals will be required to pay a processing fee to the AMA. For other countries, please contact the relevant national/regional accreditation authority.
Sonography Canada / ARDMS
This program has been reviewed and approved by Sonography Canada (CPD Ref: 2025-INT0925). Participants may claim up to 21.5 Sonography Based CPD Credits for Main Congress activities. Sonography Canada’s Continuing Professional Development Sonography Based Credits are recognized by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and meet the requirements of ARDMS Accepted Continuing Education Evaluation Model System (AACEEMS). ARDMS registered sonographers may submit a certificate of participation to claim CME credits for maintenance of certification. Please note that sonographers must provide their registry ID (Sonography Canada ID and/or ARDMS ID number) in their certificate, otherwise the certificate will not be accepted.
